ALL HAIL THE WEB KING!

Who's the king?

Since kings and queens are no longer a big fad when it comes to ruling a nation now, the internet is now incorporating the "kingdom" setup into its own. As of now (and perhaps the even the years to come), Google is the biggest "kingdom" of all in the world wide web setting. But when we talk about kingdoms, we certainly need a king. Therefore, Google crowned an emerging ruler – Behold,

CONTENT is King!

Content -- it's simply the blogs, articles, essays, write ups, posts, and whatever we call them. These contents are what we commonly read through on the internet. Regardless of the topic at hand, as long as it is a written piece, then it is considered as a content. This post is indeed a perfect example of a content. And this is what Google hailed as its king today.

Ever since business-minded people discovered how to use the internet to market their businesses and websites through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Google has been very busy changing its algorithms and perfecting that formula against spammers and black hat link building. With some numerous trends and updates to both penalize websites practicing black hat online marketing and clean up the system to give its users reliable and quality sites, Google finally found the now-perfect solution: to make quality contents rule over.

I personally think that this is a good move on their part. It may have taken them too long before they realized this, but after all, it's still never too late. This is an important move simply because...

Google Can Give Its Users More Relevant and Significant Pieces of Information

It's already high time for the world wide web users to be able to search for really relevant and more credible sources. Teachers and professors don't usually find internet sources as anything really reliable. But now that content-rich and relevant articles are coming out on the internet due to Google's move, then this can be a start of regaining the trust of Academe.

Aside from that, having the content as a very important factor now can pretty much uplift not just the quality of websites and articles in the internet, but also the quality of writers and writing per se. Soon, the best bloggers will rise and conquer the web. Since Google is now like a big write up filtering machine already, we can rest assured somehow that blogs and articles are now being scanned and checked better now more than ever. Due to that, online writing and blogging can now emerge as one strong and credible manner of expression through writing.

Google is Turning Into a Huge Online Library

Probably in months or a year's time, we can already feel the vibe of Google being a really huge library full of interesting, helpful and informative staff. If you have seen Beast's gift to Belle (Beauty and the Beast), it's probably a hundred times bigger than that library.

Because Google is turning into a gigantic online library, searches are a lot easier and more accessible now. And due to this as well, we can really see how quality contents are really going to reign the world wide web very, very soon.

Quantitative Online Marketing is Out, Quality is In

We can't deny the fact that the internet was flooded by irrelevant and spammy contents because of black hat link building. Big and small companies did everything just to market their products and brand name the quickest way possible -- and that is online. So they abused this opportunity that the biggest search engine today needed to intervene.

Creating useful, quality, and relevant contents are the new "in" thing today. No more spunk and plagiarized contents. Google is changing the world wide web into an all-original and useful writing ground.

Change is constant, and it is also a good thing. The way Google changes not just the web, but the whole world is something really historical and significant. So let's start embracing the change and the emergence of the new web kingdom. All hail the king!
